Alan volunteered to have his beard shaved off at the Holiday Rally this year. This miraculous feat was achieved by the use of a cut-throat razor by a person which looks suspiciously like Margaret.

About the charity:

The Breast-cancer Unit Support Trust (BUST) at Frenchay Hospital was set up in 1991 with the prime aim of raising funds to purchase the latest technology for quicker and better diagnosis of breast cancer. To date the Trust has raised over £700,000 to support the Breast-cancer Unit and continues to fund state of the art scanners and other vital equipment.
Thousands of women patients and a significant number of men are treated by the Breast-cancer Unit every year. The Unit is recognised as a ‘Centre of Excellence’ and has been awarded the prestigious Charter Mark.
The increasing incident of breast disease in the UK means the work of the Breast-cancer Unit is vital and BUST plays an important role in supporting the Unit.
